A scaffold inspector is one of the most important and most overlooked roles on any industrial site. ㅤ Here's what they actually do: ㅤ 🔍 WHAT THEY CHECK - Standards are plumb and level - Base plates and sole boards are correctly placed - All couplers and connections are tight - Load capacity has not been exceeded - All open edges have guardrails and toe boards - Bracing and ties are correctly installed ㅤ 📋 WHEN THEY INSPECT Before first use. After any modification. After adverse weather. At regular intervals throughout the project. ㅤ 🏷️ WHAT THEY SIGN OFF Once a scaffold passes inspection, the inspector places a GREEN tag on the structure, including their name, date, and the next due inspection date.
